aarogya setu , a mobile app developed by the ministry of electronics and it to help citizens identify there risk of contracting covid-19(coronavirus), has notched up more than 50 million downloads.

the app is on both Google Play and Apple App store . It is available in 11 languages.

AAROGYA SETU is designed to keep an user in case she /he has crossed path who has tested positive. The tracking is done through a blue tooth and location-generated ,which can show your interaction with any one who has tested positive but it can be only possible when the infected person also downloads the this app and having smart phone.

After installing the app you have to switch on your Bluetooth and location. It has a tool for self testing. the  user is ask to answer the some questions . In case some of the answer suggest covid symptoms, the information will send to the government server. The data will then help government take steps timely and initiate the isolation process for our benefits.

The basis of the calculation are done by using Bluetooth , algorithms, and artificial intelligence is the is the smartphone  user’s interaction with others.
